M.P. Walsh, rider of Sort It Out, trained by Edward P.Harty, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was repeatedly hampered by a loose horse.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Folsom Blue, trained by Conor O'Dwyer, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Donal Hassett, trainer of He Is Top Class, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge burst a blood vessel in this race.

D.Deacon, trainer of Miss Palm, reported to the Office of the Governing Bodies on Tuesday 21st January that his charge made a bad mistake in the race and was found to have a deep cut on her pastern post race .

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Festive Felon, trained by Noel Meade, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

P. Carberry, rider of Festive Felon, trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran free early before tiring.

R. Walsh, rider of Sarabad (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a respiratory noise in-running.

The Stewards requested a report from Mrs Grainne M. O'Connor, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Sherika, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer's representative stated that this mare has been liable to putting in an occasional disappointing run and this occured last time at Cork. Today she returned to form at a track where she had previously won and he was unable to fully account for the return to form today. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the contents of the report.

Mr D.L. Queally, rider of Powerfulpaddy, trained by John Queally, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a bad mistake, lost action and pulled up.
